Industry Day Update

       We are pleased to announce that Dr Anne Bajart from the European Commission 
       and Dr David Nicholson from BAE Systems will be speaking at the Industry day.  
       This year the event will be organized together with two strategic partners, UK's Knowledge Transfer
       Networks (KTN) on Robotics and the British Automation & Robot Association (BARA).

The Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science, comes to Bristol today to open the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL), a partnership between the University of Bristol and UWE Bristol.

The Conference Committees of TAROS and FIRA have decided to follow up several enquiries and to introduce one single extension to the paper submission deadline of the FIRA-RoboWorld Congress 2012 and
the TAROS Conference 2012:

New Deadline :  29 April 2012, 23:59, Pacific Standard Time, US

Robo World Cup will be at @Bristol

You can check the website here . The RoboWorld Cup Competition will be on selected day open to the public. On those days free access will be given to the competition rooms.

Robots playing football and basketball, climbing, or running a marathon will all be on display at the FIRA RoboWorld Cup in Bristol from 20-25 August 2012. This is the first time the RoboWorld Cup has been held in the UK. Read on the University of Bristol Press Releases!
